Kitesurfing & Surf in Mui Ne, VIETNAM
Private lessons with Lý — 20 years on this beach.
What we do
Why ride with us
Three reasons people choose KITE YOU UP
Taught by Lý
Twenty years on this beach. Lý started out on Ham Tien as a teenager, rigging and landing kites for visiting riders. He's still on the same stretch of sand — now teaching on it.
Always one-on-one
Private lessons by default. No crowded group sessions, no waiting your turn on a shared kite. Your hours are your hours.
A local school, not a franchise
A local who knows the currents, the sandbars, and the days you shouldn't go out. That last one matters more than anything you'll read in a brochure.

Lý
Lý grew up in Ham Tien, back when the beach was fishing boats and a handful of guesthouses.
He learned the wind before he learned to teach it — carrying kites, landing them, watching riders for years.
Today he teaches in Vietnamese and English, one student at a time, on the beach he has known his whole life.

What riders say
“Endlessly patient. I'd never flown a kite in my life and by day three I was riding. Lý explains everything twice, calmly, until it clicks.”
“You can tell he genuinely loves this. He reads the wind like a book and knows exactly when to push you and when to call it a day.”
“Perfect for first-timers. Private lesson, clear English, real attention to safety. Booked three more hours the same week.”
